She was beautiful, smart, shrewd, compassionate, hilarious and loved her family almost to a fault. I miss her.

Well, not exactly new … Walter turned 9 months old yesterday!

This was quite a busy weekend for Hollis … first was the Neighborhood Halloween Parade. After marching around the park and then dancing to a Rag Time Band, it was off to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to see Niki in the Garden.

With Hollis’ first birthday just a few days behind us, Belle celebrates her sixth anniversary today.

Hollis visited a pumpkin patch this weekend in search of the perfect Jack-O-Lantern. More pictures to come.

Hollis visited the old Epworth High School in Blue Ridge, Georgia (now a technical college) this weekend with her Great Grandma.

Grandma Hardin, Class of ‘38, joined with other graduates for good food and fond memories.

Our little neighborhood had its third annual ‘Summer Shade Festival’ this weekend. While the music, art and other events were great, Hollis still preferred the trusty old swing:

Hollis traveled to Asheville, North Carolina and danced the night away at Bele Chere 2005 ... but, more importantly, she got to meet the beautiful Ella Paci. Pictures of these two girls together coming soon!

Hollis loves to read books. Just loves them. And by ‘loves them,’ we mean “eats them”.

Hollis takes her first trip to the Great White North and has a blast with all her Canuck relatives!

Hollis made her Professional Baseball debut last night at Turner Field. Her presence helped the Braves drub the Nats from Washington D.C., 11 – 2.

Well, Hollis is as upset as all of you for the lack of picture updates. We’ve been taking them, just not updating the site. I promise, more pictures than you can shake a stick at are forthcoming. Any day now.

Well, after 75 to 80 degrees all through December and January, we finally were reminded that it is winter.

The ice storm locked us in the house for three days with nothing to do except take pictures!

Well, believe it or not, 9 weeks have passed and we’re still head over heels. As you’ll see above, Belle has gotten into the whole ‘baby raising’ and is trying hard to convince us that she can carry Hollis in the Baby Bjorn. We’re skeptical.

At any rate, here are a few more pictures with maybe a Christmas shot or two snuck in.

Choosing our Christmas Card this year was hard … Hollis was very patient as we worked to get that “perfect” shot. Here a few of the shots we had to choose from ... did we pick the right one?
